ALO CAPITOL GROUP — PRIVACY
How we handle personal information, and how you can exercise your choices.
Last updated: 13 October 2026
Alo Capitol Group Limited ("Alo Capitol", "we", "us" or "our") is responsible for the personal information it collects through the corporate website alocapitol.com and related enquiries. This policy explains the information involved, how it is used and the choices available to you.
It applies to our corporate website, resource requests, business and investor enquiries, and career or programme enquiries. Separate products, course portals and third-party services may provide additional privacy notices for their own activities.
Information you provide: your name, email address, telephone number, organisation, job title and information included in a message, resource request or business enquiry.
Career and programme information: a CV, employment and education history, qualifications, portfolio links and other relevant information you choose to send. Please provide only what is necessary for your request.
Technical information: our website and its service providers may record IP addresses, browser and device information, requested pages, referral information, and the date and time of a visit. This information helps operate and protect the website.
We use relevant information to respond to enquiries, supply requested resources, discuss projects and partnerships, evaluate career or programme enquiries, administer related communications, maintain website security and meet applicable legal obligations.
Sending an enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to marketing messages or a talent mailing list. Where we offer optional updates, the purpose and your choices should be explained when you sign up.
Depending on the purpose and applicable law, processing may be based on consent, steps you request before entering a contract or the performance of a contract, a legal obligation, or legitimate interests such as answering ordinary business enquiries and protecting the website.
Where legitimate interests are relied on, those interests must be assessed against your rights and freedoms. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it; withdrawal does not invalidate processing carried out lawfully before withdrawal.
Enquiry, application and resource-request buttons on the corporate pages open your email application. We receive the message and attachments only when you send them. Your email provider also processes your message under its own terms.
The Careers page search and department filters help you browse the displayed roles. They do not submit an application or make a recruitment decision.
If you ask to be considered for future opportunities, we will explain the purpose and intended retention of your details. Any future online application or upload system should provide the relevant notice when it collects information.
Cookies or similar technologies may support security, administration, sessions and website preferences. You can manage cookies in your browser, although blocking necessary cookies may affect some functions.
The current page designs can load fonts from Google Fonts and photographs from Pexels. Loading these files sends a request from your browser to the provider, which may receive technical information such as your IP address. Their own privacy notices describe their processing.
If optional analytics, advertising pixels or other tracking tools are introduced, we will explain their purpose and available controls and obtain consent where required. This policy does not treat browsing the website as blanket consent to optional tracking.
Relevant information may be accessed by authorised staff handling your enquiry or application and by service providers supporting hosting, email, security and related administration. Information may also be disclosed where legally required or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.
Personal information should be shared only for the relevant purpose and with appropriate confidentiality and data-protection safeguards. Information you post directly on a third-party service is also subject to that service’s terms.
Hosting, email or other service providers may process information in countries outside Nigeria. Where personal information is transferred internationally, applicable transfer requirements must be met, including appropriate safeguards or another permitted ground.
You may contact us to ask about relevant recipients, processing locations and safeguards for your information.
Information should be kept only for as long as it is needed for the relevant purpose, applicable record-keeping requirements or legal claims, and then deleted or anonymised where appropriate.
Enquiry records are assessed against whether the request has been resolved and whether related obligations remain. Recruitment records are assessed against the application process and applicable legal requirements. Retention for future opportunities should be explained separately rather than assumed.
Technical logs are assessed against website operation, security and troubleshooting needs. Contact us if you need the retention period or criteria applicable to a particular record.
We aim to use reasonable technical and organisational measures to limit unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. Appropriate measures may include access controls, secure accounts, updates and restrictions on who can handle personal information.
No website, email system or storage method can guarantee complete security. Any personal-data incident must be assessed and handled in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
Subject to applicable law and any relevant conditions, you may ask for information about processing, access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction of processing, or a portable copy of information. You may also object to certain processing and withdraw consent where processing relies on it.
Where applicable, you may request human involvement in significant decisions made solely by automated processing. We may need proportionate verification of your identity before acting on a request and will explain any lawful reason why a request cannot be fully met.
Email mail@alocapitol.com with the subject "Privacy request". You may also raise a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission or another competent authority under the law that applies to you.
Please do not send information about another person unless you have an appropriate reason and authority to do so. Programmes involving children require age-appropriate information and any consent or other safeguards required by applicable law.
If you believe a child’s information has been provided without the required authority, contact us so it can be reviewed.
Our website may link to partner websites, social networks, video services or other external platforms. Those organisations are responsible for their own processing. Review their privacy notices before providing personal information to them.
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the website, our activities or legal requirements. The updated version will be posted here with a revised date. Where required, significant changes will be communicated in an appropriate way.
For privacy questions, requests or concerns, contact Alo Capitol Group Limited at mail@alocapitol.com. Include enough information to help identify your request, but avoid sending unnecessary personal information.
